London Trip
Today was such a great experience!
Got a bit of attention from a random guy who thought I looked really nice, and had good fashion sense which is nice :) He also thought I was French which was a bit odd but been told it before!
Highlight
I went to the Hollywood Costume Exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum today! It was amazing and so worth the trip. The whole exhibition is so inspiring and highlights the importance of costume througout film.
If you haven't gone yet, then definitely do so before the 27th January!

Going back to yesterdays post
Referring back to the idea of just being yourself through clothes, music and happiness, today really made me think about the way actors and actresses portray characters in the a similar sort of way. In order for them to get into a specific character of a film; lets take My Fair Lady with Audrey Hepburn. She dresses in baggy, mis-matching clothes, and speaks in common English. Just from this she could be described as common, maybe even poor and unladylike due to the way she dresses throughout the film. Its this kind of impact that the film/cinematic world has on us, and its something which we don't
However this is the exact idea of what we as people should be doing when it comes to self-presentation. Be yourself and dress how you want to! Uniqueness and being geniune though clothing is a smarter and more mature idea than trying to be someone you're not and hating yourself for it <3
Helping Hand
So I've been helping a lot of my friends recently which is a great feeling! Its nice to know that made something better for someone or gave them a chance of an opportunity which has me thinking...
I've got 117 friends on facebook, so I was thinking of helping at least one person on facebook a week.
In order for you and me to keep track, I was going to put a "Friends Helped" update at the bottom of each post until I've helped all 117 :)
Will be starting this Monday!
If you like this idea, then maybe you should do the same? Helping out your friends is a great feeling, but helping out someone you don't really know is awesome! So much can come from it :)
You never know what opportunity could pop up
