Like many people, I've had little projects which I've wanted to finish for a while, and so after sorting my sewing machine out, I did!
Pillow for my Desk Chair
In October of 2011, I went to a YM@6 (You Me at Six) concert; a rock band from Surrey who's songs are truely inspiring! It was only my second ever concert but I had really liked the band before that so I was really excited about seeing them. I absolutely loved the concert, and just had to get a t-shirt promoting their new album Sinners Never Sleep which is what I did.
However when I got the t-shirt, they only had a mens size so I brought it anyway. Since then, I just haven't worn it because its so big on me -insert sad face- But this is where the pillow idea came in!
Please Note - Its not completely finished... as you can see. But! I'm hoping to get cushion padding soon so you'll be able to see the kind-of "I-used-to-be-a-t-shirt-but-now-I'm-a-cushion" look which I'm hoping for!
- I'll take a picture of it when its properly finished - promise!
My Scarve-which-is-now-a-Snood!
Not much to say about this idea!
I'm really loving my snoods atm ( I <3 My Pink Zebra Snood) and really loved the scarve below. So naturally.. I had to textiles it up and transform into a snood!
Focusing on my final products for my "Time Travellers" Project
Yes I have actually focused on my project as well! Although I enjoy it as much as making stuff for my bedroom so its definitely win:win :) Although the project needs to be finished for Monday eek.
My Bag
- The whole bag and embellishments/fabrics are from a Flea Maket in Amsterdam!
- Seventies "Hippie" Inspired
- Loved making it!
(Definitely need to work on the Making quality!)
Plan on putting my final fabric pieces on A4 and show what they could be used for tomorrow!
So it looks like this weekend is going to spent a lot here
But I love it nonetheless :)
